Hello, Looking for a free tax ID number for a youth girls softball travel team, This is for a softball team. I'm not sure what I need. I would like to get a tax ID for, y girls softball team for sponsorship purposes, what to see what I need to do? Furthermore, I started a girls fast pitch softball team. I have potential sponsors, but they are asking for a tax ID, do you need a tax ID number for a softball team, why does a girl's softball team need a tax ID to start a travel softball team for girls 10 years old and under the nonprofit Travel Softball Team for Girls 14 and Under

You can form a nonprofit, get a federal ID, or a DBA and get an EIN, but since you want an LLC, go with that as well.
